Riccardo Giusti (Polytechnic University of Turin) has won the 2nd edition of the AIROYoung Dissertation Award (AYDA) with a Ph.D. thesis entitled “Optimization-based integration platform for Synchromodal Logistics“, supervised by C. G. Demartini and D. Manerba.
Riccardo reached a total of 94 points, 3 of which assigned after his presentation at the ODS 2023 session dedicated to the AYDA.
Before assigning the prize, 25 expert reviewers have evaluated 10 candidate theses in 2 revision rounds. The average score of the theses has been 84.06 (out of 100), witnessing the high quality of the submitted theses.
