We empower our clients to tackle their most challenging linear and conic optimization problems using cutting-edge algorithms solid grounded on mathematical theory.
We are looking for a passionate and innovative person to join our mixed integer optimizer development team currently consisting of 3 out of 13 people.
What You’ll Do
- Work on improving the mixed-integer optimizer in Mosek.
- Design, develop, and advance mathematical optimization algorithms: cuts, branching, heuristics, presolving and postsolving techniques.
- Apply your software engineering expertise to deliver robust and reliable code, comprehensive test cases, and thorough documentation.
- Evaluate and enhance the performance and numerical robustness of Mosek.
- Collaborate with an international team while structuring your work self-sufficiently.
What You Bring
- Ph.D. or equivalent in Operations Research, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- Practical experience in developing and maintaining a mixed integer optimizer code. For instance, you may have contributed to SCIP or another commercial optimization product.
- Good programming skills in C or C++.
- A collaborative spirit and outstanding self-management skills.
- Proficiency in both written and spoken English.
