We offer an exciting PhD position focused on optimizing District Heating Networks (DHNs) for next-generation energy systems, hosted by VITO and supervised by Prof. Maarten Blommaert at KU Leuven. This project aims to transform DHNs into robust, energy-efficient networks integrating renewable and waste heat sources. The position is part of the DENSE Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions-Doctoral Network, funded under the HORIZON EUROPE program.
